I’m writing to invite you to a free talk and discussion event I’m doing at Glasgow’s Gallery of Modern Art on Saturday 15 February, 2pm to mark the 10th Anniversary of my Dark Days project.
Staged in February 2015, Dark Days was a participatory event for which I invited 100 people to spend the night in GoMA’s great hall as part of a pop-up community.
On Friday 14 February, 2:30pm I’m also running a free event for young people aged 16-25 at GoMA called Hope in Dark Days, looking at strategies for evolving art practice in response to the climate emergency.
I’m also marking another 10 Year Anniversary of my sculpture Life Raft, by showing it as part of the Winter Sculpture Park at the old Thamesmead golf course in London, opening on Saturday 1 March, 11am-5pm.
When the Sculpture Park closes on 26 April, I will be looking for a new home for Life Raft, so if you know of a venue who might like to adopt it, please reply to this message and let me know!
It would be fab to see you in Glasgow and/or London over the next month. If you can’t get a ticket for the Sculpture Park opening, email me as a have a small guest list.
