I’m writing to invite you to the launch party for my first solo show in London - Gold Card Adventures. The exhibition is the result of a year-long project for which I recorded the distance of every journey I made commuting across London using my Gold Card (annual travelcard).

Gold Card Adventures is now open and runs until 21 March 2005 at Piccadilly Circus Underground station. It takes place as part of Platform For Art, the art programme for London Underground.

A special Gold Card Adventures launch party will be held on Thursday 27 January. The details are as follows:

6.30 - 7.00pm
Exhibition viewing at: Piccadilly Circus Underground Station
ticket hall and exit subway 2

7.00pm onwards
Launch party at:
The Warwick (basement)
1 - 3 Warwick Street
(3 minutes walk from the station)

I really hope you’ll be able to make it. If it’s just not possible, then you might like to visit the Gold Card Adventures website where you can see the online version of the exhibition.

See you at the launch party
Best wishes

PS If you are coming to the launch party from Nottingham, Leicester, Derby or Sheffield (any of the Midland Mainline stations) then if you book a train ticket more than 3 days in advance you can travel for just £15 on their New Year special offer! (that’s what I’ll be doing!)
