After the Revolution, Who Will Clean Up the Mess?
Ellie Harrison is an artist, campaigner and educator living in Dundee. Her installation is contingent on the result of the Independence referendum. Four large confetti cannons have been installed in an ornate Georgian gallery space. Linked up to a central detonation unit, the cannons will only be activated in the event of a YES vote. If a NO vote is declared, they will remain dormant for the entire duration of the exhibition and we will never witness what might have been.?
