Data Collected: I undertook a diet and exercise regime with my mum. On a weekly basis we weighed ourselves and photographed our bodies from 8 different angles. We monitored our daily food and liquid intake and exercise onto specially prepared regimen wall charts.

Objectives: In the month following the end of Eat 22, I put on over 3 kg in weight as I relaxed out of the strict eating habits I had developed. Project X was both an attempt to impose a routine on my life and an attempt to lose this excess weight. I worked with my mum on the project as I was living with her at the time and she saw the opportunity as similar to having a stern live-in personal trainer to help her get into shape.

Outcomes: Each week the photographs of our bodies were made into animated avatars, which were uploaded onto the Project X website alongside the complete regimen sheets and our printouts from the electronic weighing scales at our local chemist.
