Early Warning Signs

Hello,

I'm getting in touch to let you know that my first book, The Glasgow Effect: A Tale of Class, Capitalism & Carbon Footprint, launches this week! See list of Launch Events below.

And also because today - Thursday 31 October 2019 - is the final day for host venues to apply to ‘adopt’ one of my Early Warning Signs for 2020.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Your Art!

The Early Warning Signs project is now entering its ninth year, and more than 32 venues across the UK have taken part, including: Artsadmin, Dundee Contemporary Arts, CCA Glasgow, Site Gallery, Eastside Projects, Castlefield Gallery, Beaconsfield, GoMA Glasgow, FACT Liverpool, Aspex Gallery, NN Contemporary Art, Spike Island, The Tetley, QUAD Derby, Arcola Theatre, Edinburgh Printmakers, ONCA Brighton, Deveron Projects, ATLAS Arts, Solent Showcase, UH Arts, BOM Birmingham, CCA Derry~Londonderry, Central Saint Martins, MIMA and Kinning Park Complex.

If you know an arts venue that would like to become part of this project and help provoke conversation and action on climate change, please get them to apply to host one of the four signs in 2020. The online form takes 2-5 minutes to complete:

There's further info for sharing on Facebook and Instagram.

Please read on for details of the Book Launch and I hope to see you soon.

Best wishes,

Ellie
